Welcome to the digital on-line version of the September/October 2008 edition of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This issue is Volume 12, Number 6 of the magazine and features Jef Autry of the John Cowan Band on the cover. Additionally, this issue features Ross Martin, a guitar player who is well known in for his work with artists like Tony Furtado, Molly O'Brien, and Drew Emmett just to name a few. We also feature a CD highlight by the exciting southern California-based band Sligo Rags and their guitar player David Burns. This band has mixed bluegrass rhythms with Celtic tunes with great success. Our guitar builder feature for this issue highlights Allison Guitars of Austin, TX.
